New Categories: Pitches, Strikes, and Strike %

I’ve added three new pitching categories to RotoValue: pitches, strikes, and strike percentage.
These can be used as scoring categories for a league or display-only categories, either for a whole league by administrator configuration, or by owners with RotoValue Analyst, who can add these values to the leagues where they want to see them.
Here‘s the major league leaders in pitches thrown so far this year, with C.J. Wilson topping the list at 2511 pitches in 23 starts. Adam Wainwright leads the majors in strikes thrown, with  1630 out of 2403 pitches, while Wilson ranks 7th in strikes at 1585.
If you’re worried about your starter’s recent workload, you can check their game log to see their pitch loads. Tim Lincecum threw 148 pitches in his no-hitter, but followed that with his shortest (and worst) outing of the year, just 3.67 innings, 78 pitches, and 8 earned runs. In two starts since then, Lincecum has pitched well, while throwing 111 and 115 pitches.
Owners with RotoValue Analyst will have a “RotoValue & Display” link under Settings in the menu bar, which lets them pick extra categories to show, or even give categories different weights in RotoValue price calculations.
