My name is Geoff Buchan, and I’m building a website for fantasy sports, www.rotovalue.com.
This blog will typically discuss fantasy sports, with an emphasis on player valuation.
RotoValue is the name of this site for two reasons:
- I hope the commissioner services provide good value, a lower cost alternative to many other sites out there.
- RotoValue is also the pricing model I’ve developed to convert statistics into prices, ideally for an auction league, although sorting by price could also be used to come up with a draft ranking of players.
The blog will focus much more on fantasy valuation and strategy, and thus will mainly use RotoValue in its second meaning. But if you’re dissatisfied with your current standings web site, please remember the first meaning, and give us a try!
