Tue Apr 2206:47Craig Yoho Allows One Run In MLB Debut
Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Craig Yoho allowed one run during his MLB debut on Monday evening. Yoho entered the game in the eighth inning. He proceeded to strike out the first batter he saw, Heliot Ramos. However, he then allowed a walk to LaMonte Wade Jr. and a single to Wilmer Flores. Wade would eventually score on a double play later in the frame. This is a strong debut for Yoho, who just joined the MLB roster prior to Monday's contest against the Giants. Earlier in the summer, Yoho tossed nine 2/3 shutout innings with Triple-A. During this stint, he allowed five hits, three walks, and struck out nine hitters. Last summer, he held a 1.26 ERA across 14 1/3 innings with an 18:9 K:BB at Triple-A. He is worth a look in holds leagues as he appears to have a high-leverage role in the Milwaukee bullpen

Mon Apr 2117:41Brewers Calling Up Craig Yoho
Sources told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Curt Hogg that the Milwaukee Brewers are recalling pitching prospect Craig Yoho from Triple-A Nashville on Monday. Yoho has been one of the nastiest pitchers in the minors and will now be joining Milwaukee's bullpen after allowing just an unearned run on five hits while walking three, saving one game and striking out nine in 9 2/3 innings for Nashville to begin the season. The 25-year-old right-hander was a former eighth-round selection out of Indiana University Bloomington, and although he may not be immediately thrust into high-leverage situations in his first taste of the big leagues, the Brewers are hoping he can settle down what has been one of the worst bullpens in the league early in the 2025 season. Yoho has a changeup that has basically been unhittable in the minors and should continue to generate plenty of swings and misses at the next level.

Thu Mar 2008:08Craig Yoho Assigned To Minor-League Camp
Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Craig Yoho was re-assigned to minor-league camp. Yoho has enjoyed an impressive spring training as he has logged seven 1/3 innings to the tune of a 1.23 ERA and a stellar 0.68 WHIP. Yoho has tallied 12 punchouts and only served up three free passes. The Indiana product received his first full look at the minor leagues last season after being drafted in the eighth round of the 2023 MLB Draft. He began his campaign with High-A and held a 0.44 ERA with a 0.69 WHIP across 20 1/3 frames. He then moved up to Double-A, where he tossed 23 innings with a 1.17 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP. Yoho was able to conclude his campaign at the top level of the minors, where he logged 14 1/3 innings with a strong 1.26 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. He tallied 101 total punchouts across 57 1/3 innings. Given his impressive development, Yoho should contend for an early 2025 MLB debut.
