Beck was able to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster but was later optioned to Triple-A after he struggled during the early part of the campaign. Through nine games this season, the 24-year-old posted a disappointing .150/.261/.150 slash line with just three total hits (all singles). Beck also missed considerable time in the minors with a fractured left hand but has hit .319/.402/.558 with a .960 OPS with eight homers, 35 RBI and six steals in 39 games for the Isotopes.
