Sat Apr 2622:18Alan Trejo Traded To The Rockies
The Colorado Rockies are re-acquired Alan Trejo from the Texas Rangers in exchange for cash considerations after the 28-year-old righty signed in the offseason with the Rangers. Trejo spent the first part of this season in Triple-A, where he hit .211 with no home runs, eight doubles, and one stolen base. Before signing with Texas, Trejo played parts of the last four seasons with Colorado, hitting .228 in 174 games with nine home runs and six stolen bases. Trejo is expected to be activated for Sunday's series finale against the Reds, but he is a utility depth piece that doesn't carry much fantasy value despite playing his home games at Coors Field once again.

Sun Dec 29 202408:54Alan Trejo Heading To Texas On Minor-League Contract
The Texas Rangers have signed second baseman/shortstop Alan Trejo to a minor-league contract that contains an invite to Spring Training. Trejo has spent the first four seasons of his major league career with the Colorado Rockies. Last summer, Trejo held a .143/.182/.143 line with no extra-base hits across 28 games in the major leagues. He sits with a cumulative .228/.276/.334 line through 174 games in the majors. Trejo would also post a .265/.346/.408 line across 59 games at Triple-A last summer. While the infielder has yet to put it together in the majors, he has shown solid upside in the minor leagues. He is worth monitoring in deeper AL-only formats as he could contend for a spot on the Opening Day roster.

Tue Mar 26 202419:10Michael Toglia, Alan Trejo Make Opening Day Roster
Colorado Rockies manager Bud Black announced on Tuesday that first baseman/outfielder Michael Toglia and non-roster infielder Alan Trejo have made the Opening Day roster. In addition, right-hander Victor Vodnik made the bullpen, while outfielder Sean Bouchard has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque. Toglia is a switch-hitting 24-year-old who was taken 23rd overall in 2019 out of UCLA. He showed plenty of power in the minors but hit just .163 (23-for-141) with four homers and nine RBI in 45 games for the Rockies in 2023. Toglia will have a low fantasy ceiling as a platoon option against righties in the outfield while also being a backup at first. Trejo, 27, mostly offers the Rockies defensive versatility on the infield as a bench player. He has just nine homers in 76 career games and hit .224/.284/.507 in a career-high 45 contests in Colorado in 2023.
