Tue Apr 815:18Victor Robles Expected To Miss 12 Weeks With Fracture In Shoulder
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (shoulder) is expected to miss a minimum of 12 weeks after an MRI revealed that he not only suffered a dislocated shoulder, but also a small fracture in his left shoulder as well. The injury happened on Sunday while making a spectacular catch in foul territory. The 27-year-old was coming off a strong finish to the 2024 campaign with the Mariners, and had just started to heat up, collecting a hit in eight straight games, including three consecutive multi-hit efforts. Dominic Canzone was called up from Triple-A Tacoma to replace Robles. Canzone has just a .208 batting average and .265 on-base percentage through 126 major league games, but has managed to hit 14 home runs during that time. Still, fantasy managers may want to see how playing time shakes out before considering adding him to rosters, as it was Luke Raley who started in right field for the M's on Monday.

Mon Apr 718:03Victor Robles Heading To Injured List
MLB.com's Daniel Kramer reports that Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (shoulder) is heading to the 10-day injured list on Monday due to a left-shoulder injury that he suffered in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco Giants. Robles is undergoing an MRI exam to determine the severity of his shoulder injury, at which point we should have a better idea of how much time he might have to miss. The 27-year-old sold out to make a fantastic play in the ninth inning on Sunday, but he paid the price. Dominic Canzone is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move, but the left-handed-hitting Luke Raley figures to benefit the most from extra playing time in right field with Robles on the shelf. After breaking out with the M's in 77 games in 2024, Robles was hitting .273 (12-for-44) with three doubles, three RBI and three steals in his first 10 games in 2024.

Sun Apr 621:13Victor Robles Exits Early With Wrist Injury
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (wrist) made an incredible catch while colliding with the netting in the ninth inning of Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Giants but injured himself in the process. He immediately went down in pain and had to be carted off the field. There has been no official injury designation yet from the team, but he appeared to be holding his left wrist as he left the game. It's unfortunate news for the speedy outfielder, who put it all on the line to make one of the best catches of the season. He was batting .273 with three RBI, three runs, and three stolen bases so far in 2025. Expect updates from the Mariners in the coming days with more details about the severity of the injury.

Mon Mar 2416:55Victor Robles Returns To The Field On Monday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hand) got the start in right field and was batting leadoff for Monday's Cactus League game against the San Diego Padres. Robles is back in action to begin the week after he was pulled from Saturday's exhibition game early against the Chicago White Sox when he was hit by a pitch on the right hand. Thankfully, the 27-year-old avoided any broken bones and will be ready for Opening Day this Thursday against the division-rival Athletics. The Dominican outfielder came alive last year after being traded from the Washington Nationals to Seattle, as he slashed .328/.393/.467 with an .860 OPS, four home run, 26 RBI and 30 steals in 77 games for the M's. Fantasy managers shouldn't be banking on a repeat for Robles over a full season, especially since he has limited power, but his speed should play in at least deep-mixed leagues out of the leadoff spot in Seattle.

Sun Mar 2314:22Victor Robles' X-Rays Come Back Clean
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles' (hand) X-rays were deemed negative. Though he is not in the lineup on Sunday, he's hitting in the cages, per Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com. Robles left Saturday's outing against the Chicago White Sox after getting plunked in the hand with a pitch and looked to be seriously hurting. Fortunately, it appears he can be considered day-to-day. The 27-year-old was a different player last season upon his arrival to Seattle, hitting an eye-popping .328 with 30 steals after the move. Robles is currently hovering around the top 200 picks off the board (~OF30) and projects to give fantasy managers the most considerable boost in the average and steals categories.

Fri Sep 27 202418:27Victor Robles Takes A Seat
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles is out of the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics. The Mariners don't have anything to play for anymore after being eliminated from the postseason contention That being said, Seattle has little incentive to play their star players. Mitch Haniger will take over in right field and bat sixth against left-hander JP Sears. Haniger has been bad at the plate this season, but even worse against left-handed pitching, so he can be avoided in all fantasy formats on Friday.

Thu Sep 19 202415:02Victor Robles Scratched From Thursday's Lineup
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hand) has been scratched from the starting lineup on Thursday against the New York Yankees at T-Mobile Park. Robles suffered a bruised right hand in Tuesday's contest and didn't play on Wednesday as a result. It appears the 27-year-old needs at least one more day to heal up before returning to the field. In his absence, Dylan Moore will draw into the lineup at second base and will hit eighth against Yankees right-hander Clarke Schmidt. Jorge Polanco is serving as the designated hitter and is batting sixth for the M's. Moore has a homer and two RBI in two career at-bats against Schmidt, while Polanco has gone hitless in his only at-bat against Schmidt. Robles should be fine to play this weekend on the road in Texas against the division-rival Rangers. He's been excellent since joining Seattle, hitting .333 (66-for-198) with four homers, 20 RBI and 25 steals in 69 games.

Tue Sep 17 202423:54Victor Robles Suffers Right-Hand Contusion
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hand) left Tuesday night's game at T-Mobile Park against the visiting New York Yankees with a right-hand contusion, but X-rays came back negative. Robles had an eventful first inning, getting hit by a pitch and then being thrown out while trying to steal home plate. He was serving as the designated hitter in this one and was replaced by pinch-hitter Mitch Garver before his second plate appearance. The 27-year-old should be considered day-to-day, and fantasy managers in deeper leagues should check back to see if he's available to start on Wednesday against the Yanks. Robles has been a lineup regular for the Mariners since being acquired from the Washington Nationals, and he's been excellent in Seattle, slashing .333/.401/.475 with four homers, 20 RBI and 25 steals in 227 trips to the plate over 67 games.

Tue Sep 17 202418:09Victor Robles Returning To The Lineup
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (undisclosed) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees. Robles has been one of the hottest hitters in the league over the last few weeks. He's hitting .463 with five RBI and eight steals over his last 13 games. Robles will serve as the designated hitter and bat leadoff against right-hander Luis Gil on Tuesday. Fantasy managers who have Robles rostered can get him back in there.

Fri Sep 13 202400:45Victor Robles Continues To Run Wild
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles continued to excel out of the leadoff spot, going 3-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, and two stolen bases in Thursday's 5-4 loss against the Texas Rangers. Robles has balled out since his move to Seattle, slashing .313/.382/.456 with four homers and 20 steals (zero caught stealing) in 208 PA coming into tonight's game. He has played so well that the team has basically made him an everyday player at this point, and he is mostly hitting at the top of the lineup. His solid average and great speed make him an asset in fantasy leagues, especially category leagues. He is a great stream for the final few weeks for those in need of an outfielder.

Tue Sep 10 202421:04Victor Robles Back In Action On Tuesday Night
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (elbow) is starting in right field and is batting leadoff for the M's at T-Mobile Park on Tuesday night against the visiting San Diego Padres and right-hander Yu Darvish for the start of a new series. Robles was hit by a pitch on his elbow last Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals and then missed the final two games of the series. After a scheduled day off on Monday, the 27-year-old is back in action and will be looking for his first career hit against Darvish, who he has faced five times before. The Dominican outfielder has been an offensive spark for Seattle since being acquired in a deadline trade from the Washington Nationals at the end of July. In his 61 games with Seattle, Robles has hit .307/.369/.449 with an .818 OPS, four homers, 13 doubles, 19 RBI and 19 steals in 199 plate appearances.

Sat Sep 7 202416:20Victor Robles Sitting Out On Saturday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (elbow) is not in Saturday's lineup as the Mariners continue a three-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals. Robles was removed early from Friday's game after being hit by a pitch in his elbow and will need at least one more day to rest. Fantasy managers should consider the 27-year-old day-to-day for the time being. As a result, Mitch Haniger will cover right field and bat in the eight-hole. Haniger is in the midst of a rough 3-for-20 slump across his past seven games and should be left out of your DFS lineup as he will face St. Louis right-hander Kyle Gibson.

Sat Sep 7 202412:25Victor Robles "Should Be Fine" After Leaving Early On Friday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (elbow) was pulled in the eighth inning on Friday night against the St. Louis Cardinals after being hit by a pitch on his left elbow pad in the fifth inning. However, Robles' exit was more precautionary, and he "should be fine" for the second game of the series on Saturday, according to interim manager Dan Wilson. Before leaving the eventual 6-1 win at Busch Stadium, Robles was 0-for-3 with a run scored and a strikeout out of the leadoff spot. He was replaced in right field by Mitch Haniger. The 27-year-old Dominican is likely to be back in the lineup on Saturday, but fantasy managers will want to double check first. Robles has been a new player since being traded to Seattle and has earned regular playing time by hitting .307 (54-for-176) with four homers, 19 RBI and 19 stolen bases in his 61 games played.

Tue Aug 27 202418:20Victor Robles Returns To The Lineup
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (finger) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Robles is back in the mix after missing a pair of games due to a right finger contusion he suffered over the weekend. He'll bat in the leadoff spot and cover right field against left-hander Jeffrey Springs on Tuesday. Robles has been a nice surprise for Seattle this season, but is hitting .226 with zero home runs and three RBI against left-handed pitching this season. Fantasy managers looking for DFS help should look elsewhere for help.

Mon Aug 26 202418:54Victor Robles Remains Out On Monday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (finger) remains out of the starting lineup ahead of Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The speedy outfielder will miss his second game in a row due to a bruised right finger. He suffered the injury during Saturday's game, but will hopefully only need a few days off to recover. In the meantime, Dominic Canzone will start in right field and bat eighth versus right-hander Ryan Pepiot on Monday. Canzone doesn't offer much upside with the bat outside of some occasional pop. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on Robles. He has come alive at the plate in Seattle with 40 hits in 51 games with the team.

Sun Aug 25 202408:38Victor Robles Diagnosed With Right Index-Finger Contusion
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (finger) took a fastball off the right hand after squaring to bunt during Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Giants. It initially looked bad, with Robles in a lot of pain. However, X-rays were taken that came back negative, meaning the Dominican is dealing with a right index-finger contusion. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day for now. Robles had been enjoying somewhat of a renaissance in Seattle after several underwhelming seasons in Washington, slashing .280/.340/.413 with 13 extra-base hits and 14 steals in just 51 games for the Mariners, so hopefully he can return soon.

Fri Aug 23 202418:30Victor Robles Remains Out On Friday
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hip) remains absent from the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants. Robles continues to sit out after exiting early from Tuesday's contest. The 27-year-old crashed into the center field wall and was forced to exit that contest. The organization continues to consider Robles as day-to-day, so hopefully he'll be able to avoid a trip to the injured list. He has been on fire with the bat since joining the Mariners roster. Robles is hitting .280 with three home runs and 11 RBI in 50 games with Seattle. Dominic Canzone will cover right field and bat seventh versus right-hander Hayden Birdsong on Friday. Fantasy managers can avoid Canzone who is struggling to the tune of a .201 batting average with eight long balls this season.

Wed Aug 21 202419:49Victor Robles Out With Hip Issue
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hip) is absent from Wednesday's lineup due to a hip issue as the M's look to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. We'll consider Robles to be day-to-day for now until we know more about the severity of his hip injury. With Julio Rodriguez (ankle) still serving as the designated hitter, Luke Raley will start in center field and hit leadoff on Wednesday against Dodgers right-hander Jack Flaherty. If Robles' hip injury isn't all that serious, he could be back for Friday's series opener at home against the San Francisco Giants after having an additional day off on Thursday. The 27-year-old Dominican has been rejuvenated by a change of scenery since being traded to Seattle, hitting .280 (40-for-143) with three homers, 11 RBI and 14 steals in 50 games while also taking over center field duties since J-Rod's ankle injury. Rodriguez is expected to return to CF soon, though, which could make it more difficult for Robles to crack the lineup.

Mon Aug 12 202418:34Victor Robles Signs Two-Year Extension
Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles has signed a two-year extension with the organization. The 27-year-old gets a $9.75 million extension with a $9 million option for the 2027 season. What a turnaround for Robles who was cut by the Washington Nationals earlier in the season. He's slashing .303/.372/.450 in 42 contests since joining the Mariners. Robles has always been a solid defender, but his bat has been holding him back. Hopefully Robles has finally put it all together.
